EasyGo.ie is now the largest provider of electric vehicle (EV) charge points in Ireland, supported by Tritium rolling out RT50 DC Rapids.

The Kildare-based group says it has a network of 1,250 charge points, used by more than 9,000 EV drivers.

“EasyGo.ie, which uses DC rapid chargers developed by plug and charge company Tritium, announced it had secured an additional €10 million in funding from private equity, which would fund the ongoing rollout of its network, while creating an additional 50 jobs.”

“The company recently signed a deal with telecommunications firm Eir to convert 180 former telephone kiosks into rapid charge points and is also planning to roll out charge points across SuperValu’s retail network. Predictions for the Irish EV market are hugely promising, said EasyGo director and co-founder Gerard Cash.”
