Today Evie Networks announced the opening of the first ultra-fast charging site in Tasmania!

Evie Networks is proud to unlock the open road for Tasmanian EV drivers today!

Connecting northern and southern Tasmania with our first ultra-fast charging site at 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻, between Launceston and Hobart.

Supported by the Tasmanian Government’s Electric Vehicle ChargeSmart Grants Program and in partnership with Northern Midlands Council, the site is the first of three ultra-fast EV charging sites we’re opening in Tasmania and the sixth to open in Evie’s nationwide network of ultra-fast sites across Australia.

A big thank you to Mayor Mary Knowles & NORTHERN MIDLANDS COUNCIL for hosting the site. And a special thank you to Clive Attwater from Electric Highway Tasmania for writing a letter of support and assisting with the commissioning of the site.
