The founders have years of experience in product development and design, outcomes research and clinical education in medical devices. CareWear has developed the world’s first method of printing light for athletic recovery and pain relief, with over 50 patents on their technologies and processes.

CareWear have years of experience working with athletic organisations across the United States, along with an extensive network of contacts among trainers and athletes in professional and amateur sports. Startup Challenge Winner for Pain Relief & Recovery

Nevada-based CareWear was a winner in the 2018 Startup Challenge at SPIE Photonics West, the world’s largest event for the photonics, laser and biomedical optics industries.  CareWear was recognised for the development of a new light-based technology for pain relief and injury recovery.

Known as “the Academy Awards of Photonics” the SPIE Startup Challenge is a high-stakes, global competition where entrepreneurs in photonics present their products and services to a panel of expert judges in technology, finance, and business.
